A Weekly 4 course large format dinner series in celebration of local purveyors

What is Form@?

Conceptualized by The Mackenzie Room team, the dinner series will take place at The Mackenzie Room every Tuesday and Wednesday in May from 7-10 p.m, with a four course meal and beer or wine pairings for $98 per person, in collaboration with selected farmers, foragers, breweries and wineries in BC.

With a new food focus and beverage pairing every week, the series aims to celebrate our commitment to sustainability and local ingredients. The dinner series will focus on large format plating and will be served family style by Chef Sean, and will be co-hosted nightly by one of our local purveyors.


May 7-8: Form@LAMB – Wine from Bella, Sparkling Wine
May 14-15: Form@BBQ – Wine from Lock and Worth and Nichol Vineyards
May 21-22: Form@OCEAN – Beer from Steel & Oak along with a Tap Takeover
May 28-29: Form@VEG – Wine from Rathjen Cellars, Vancouver Island

“When coming up with a dish, the raw ingredient draws the creativity, combined with my experience and training to develop something new,” chef Sean Reeve explains. “Form@ gives me a chance to focus specifically on each chosen protein to figure out how we can best showcase its flavours, and in the case of our BBQ meal on May 14 and 15th, to get back to where all my training started, with some BBQ cooking.”

“We are really lucky to have such a bounty of amazing food in the region, and we hope to pay homage to our partners by highlighting the work they do so well through this series,” explains The Mackenzie Room owner, Andrew Jameson. “We’re excited to be celebrating the businesses who help us do what we do, while bringing the community together over great food.”
